CALL FOR MUSICIANS!  Dubuque Rock Veterans are looking for musicians that are interested in participating in ROCK N ROLL REWIND.  We are looking for players that are comfortable playing ROCK music from 1960 to 1985. The only required qualification is that you performed in the Dubuque Tri-State area during this period.  Proceeds from this event benefit Albrecht Acres.... a community of people who support those with special needs.  This is an incredible event that gives and gives and gives!

One of the great performers at this year’s Rock and Roll Rewind was so moved by the reunion event that he was to put his toughts to paper and share them with 365ink. We were going to save those thoughts (and we still will) to use next year as we try to explain to our readers just how cool this event is for the performers and the spectators. We are very sad to report just a month after sharing his story with us, writer John Walachy passed away on Sunday, leaving a legacy a great music and now, these words to sum-up the profound impact that this last gig with the boys had on him. We think it will strike a chord with you too…

The work of twelve artists will be featured in the month-long exhibit, located in a cavernous warehouse at 10th and Jackson streets in Dubuque’s Historic Millwork District. An additional eleven artists will contribute to a special show-within-a-show to commemorate the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
